This event recognizes molders, designers, toolmakers and end-users for design excellence in a wide range of engineering, specialty and commodity materials.

1APP Conference Award: Presented to the most innovative entry overall in the New Product Design Competition. Recipient enters the Alliance of Plastics Processors Hall of Fame.
250th Annual IDSA/Plastics News Design Award: Sponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and Plastics News, this award is presented to a commercial product entry in recognition of the important work performed by industry designers and to highlight the fruits of teamwork between the designers, toolmakers and manufacturers. Judges are selected by the IDSA.
3People’s Choice Award: Conference attendees vote by ballot for their choice of the most innovative entry.
4Judge’s Award: Presented to the part that stands out among the entries but does not win its category.
