CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS:

Klouda Honored for Industry Service . . . Roger Klouda, president, MSI Mold Builders, was the 2000 recipient of the Structural Plastics Division's Industry Recognition Award, which honors outstanding commitment to the advancement of the structural plastics industry and the SPI Structural Plastics Division. Klouda, a member of the division's executive committee as well as SPI's national executive board, is an active participant in association and industry activities including SPI's recent moldmaker trade mission to China. The award was given during the division's 29th Annual Conference and Design Recognition April 1-3 in Atlanta

There were 67 new products and 40 industry companies on display at SPD 2001 in Atlanta! Thirteen products were honored for outstanding innovation and creative design. This event showcased the best in new product design using structural plastics applications representing 14 different processing technologies. Awards were given in twelve end market categories in addition to awards for overall outstanding applications……
